A special episode all about that OTHER Lynch/Frost production that ran on ABC during the early 1990s...the weirdly wonderful sitcom On The Air, starring Ian Buchanan and Miguel Ferrer as players on the ground floor of a decidedly off-kilter 1950s TV variety show. The show ran for 3 weeks before being cancelled by ABC, and although all 7 episodes have been available (in semi-official and bootleg form) for some time, it has never enjoyed a wide home release, in spite of many fans' hopes. Our discussion of this short-lived series is short, it's sweet, it's to the point, and there's actual bickering in it! How can you go wrong?
(Dedicated to the memory of Miguel Ferrer -- February 7, 1955 - January 19, 2017)

In which things get really serious for the major players. Donna and Harold amp up their relationship, and Donna finds herself in a precarious position; both Leland and Leo are going home; and Agent Cooper finally figures out where Audrey is, and devises a plan to rescue her.
Also: Andy's a whole damn town! Bobby gets a lift! Hawk kills a guy! We wish for the first (and only) time that we were watching this in glorious 480i in 1990 instead of in the 1080p of our modern Blu-ray set on our HDTV because lordy lordy Harold Smith, that is a fake way to scratch your face off...

Wherein we delve into the mysteries of Laura's secret diary. Leland's been arrested for the murder of Jacques Renault; Donna's flirtation with Harold leads to some revelations from Laura's diary; and Agent Cooper finally realizes what's happened to Audrey, and puts a plan in place to save her. Also: Who is M.T. Wentz? How much did Josie really spend on lingerie in Seattle? And what's going on with Andy's sperms?
This marks the first appearance of Aidan's Terrible German, which he hopes to make a regular feature of this show. Please write in and tell him to stop, and while you're at it, peruse the German episode titles for yourself.

It IS happening again...
A special episode all about today's tremendous news from the Television Critics Association Showtime/Twin Peaks panels that Season 3 of Twin Peaks finally has a premiere date! More details can be found here
**We apologize for the fact that, yes, we are eating cherry pie and drinking coffee; please excuse the cutlery sounds that managed to squeak through. Also, Lindsay is recovering from a bout with bronchitis, so her voice is a bit weak and funny-sounding (to her, anyway...)**

In which Aidan and Lindsay tackle the real deep questions, such as: What's up with Harold Smith? Who flicks matches at a little kid? What is Philip Gerard's connection to BOB? What are Donna and James upset about this week? And when did Agent Cooper buy a jalopy? (What the heck *is* a jalopy anyway?) Also: Lucy and Dick go Dutch! Shelly clams up! Emory moves on up to the A/V department at One Eyed Jack's! Nadine wakes up!

Laura's Secret Diary: This tie-in novel was released on 15 September 1990, but while heavily featured in this and subsequent episodes it contains little of the material presented on screen. The book was written by Jennifer Lynch and went on to become a bestseller. Read it here

Lindsay is a writer and junior high school English teacher based in Edmonton, Alberta. In addition to loving Twin Peaks and Shakespeare, she is a big fan of her husband, Aidan, her three cats (Neko, Cooper, and Audrey), teaching, reading and writing, and traveling.
And coffee...you can't forget coffee.
Aidan is a writer and communications professional also based in Edmonton, Alberta. His work has been featured in several different publications, periodicals, and books. When he isn't writing or podcasting, he can usually be found attending to his second love: gaming, with a cat or two at his side.
We met when we were 18. We supported each other through university. We moved in together at and then we got married. We live in the coolest neighbourhood in Edmonton. And we record our podcast in our home office overlooking the North Saskatchewan River Valley.
Our podcast came to life in late 2016 as Bickering Peaks: A Twin Peaks Podcast. In those early days, we spent our time rewatching Twin Peaks and analysing the series in Season One of the podcast.
In Season Two of our show, we applied that same rigour to Twin Peaks: The Return.
Season Three saw us tackle the larger question of series co-creators' David Lynch's and Mark Frost's creative oeuvre.
We decided to take our podcast into vastly different territory for Season Four when we dove headfirst into the works of William Shakespeare.
Our slightly truncated Season Five boldly went where no Bicks have gone before...and we promise we will finish our look at the Star Trek universe soon.
Season Six is our soft reboot — a return to form and hopefully a more regular release schedule. We hope you'll continue to follow along as we tackle the pop culture stuff that strikes our fancy.
